Hi I'm Mike. I like helping artists around a new release or tour. And putting on shows from time to time. And posting stuff. Ask me everything.

The Fagettes have been turning heads all over Boston, thanks to their quickly-becoming-legendary nights at Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, and loving plugs by Boston Band Crush in the Boston Phoenix. Newest release Volume 2 adds significantly to Volume 1s introduction, showing a band that can channel early Stones swagger and 60s girl groups in perfect measure.
“When I’m With You” MP3

Carnivores return to town from Atlanta for the first time since the inaugural Sippy Cup Everything show, almost a year to date. In that time, they’ve released a new LPEP and7”, played SXSW, even traveled over to the UK for some shows with Thee Oh Sees and Black Lips. NBD. Their music is punky, surfy, loungy, tropical, sometimes all at once. Basically, get ready to get sweaty.
“Parent’s Attic” MP3

Mood Rings are officially the Alec Baldwins of Sippy Cup shows, now playing more of them than even the Boston locals (that’s three). Their woozy, hypnotic, throwback tunes have been a great soundtrack to nights at Gay Gardens and Problem House, and the fourpiece is ready to share them on a Boston stage. They should have a new 7” to share with you.
“Year of Dreams” MP3

Hands and Knees are continuing to share more and more new material with their live crowds, and word on the street is they’re already recording for the followup to January’s Wholesome LP. You can still stream it in full on their bandcamp page and understand why it received glowing reviews from just about everyone in town, from The Boston Globe to the Metro to Ryan’s Smashing Life to Music Savage and more.
“Sitting at the Piano Disappearing” MP3
