Hi I'm Mike. I like helping artists around a new release or tour. And putting on shows from time to time. And posting stuff. Ask me everything.

The Big Big Bucks will be sharing Endless Bummer with the general public on this date, featuring single “Kick Rocks”. Paired with it is “Tipp City”, originally by The Amps, recorded by The Bucks during Crucial Schmooze and nearly left to die in the cold. The guys made a short run of posters for the show with download codes on the back; the first 25 folks in the door get one for free.

Prisoners are a five-piece from Cleveland, experts at some crash-bang rock and roll that will remind you of early Stones and later Sebadoh, amongst others. Frontman Jason Look has a great howl that can be as lonesome as it is angry. Their newest full-length is Pass the Stone, and hopefully the fellas will have some kind of physical release with them.

Babydriver rose from the ashes of Hats and Glasses, one of my favorite local bands of the last few years (see here), and features former members of MMOSS and Magma Divers and probably a few others. Sad Soldier Red is their debut, available for pay-what-you-want on bandcamp: seven songs that have a Spoon-esque pop flourish to them.

Kate from NYC/Boston music blog Pilgrims of Sound will be spinning music in-between.
