Hi I'm Mike. I like helping artists around a new release or tour. And putting on shows from time to time. And posting stuff. Ask me everything.

Golden Girls have just released their newest EP titled Girl World in January, and those showing up late to the party (like me) are playing catchup. There’s something unapologetically big about the songs the Worcester band writes, and it’s hard to knock when executed so well. No wonder The Boston Phoenix and Prefix Mag are fans.

MiniBoone will come up to Boston from Brooklyn for the first time since their two-week long tour in March around SXSW. Along with their infectious, spastic live show, they’ll be bringing copies of their first 7” titled The Other Summer/Fight Song. Come hungry for danceable high-energy rock-and-roll and you should leave a happy camper.

Birthdays have their first vinyl in stock! The Howolding Girls 7” is released by Denver-based Fire Talk, who have also helped put out releases by Tennis and Tjutjuna amongst others. Altered Zones says, “The track plays out like a lazy river through fiber-optic wires… ending in a crash landing upon the most bumping party this side of the mainframe.”

Initials B.R. dropped a full-length on the world/bandcamp in April, and the release is totally worthy of self-title and your attention. Big interesting beats against a wide sonic landscape that always pairs, and Luke’s unique wordplay and dictionary lessons on top. Densey, dancey, a fun sound to get lost in.
